The Challenge: “I didn’t have the time”
Aeryon had been selling on Amazon for a couple of years when she started working with Don Thompson, Beacon Commerce’s founder.
As a busy entrepreneur, she didn’t have the time or the inclination to figure out how to sell on Amazon. “I knew I needed help in the Amazon space: I knew there was huge potential, and I didn’t really understand how to do it. And not only that, I didn’t have time,” she recalls.
Another key challenge was how to deal with an army of resellers who were lowballing prices on Amazon and ruining the playing field for Aeryon’s bricks and mortar retail partners.

How Beacon Helps

Beacon manages Aeryon Wellness’s entire Amazon strategy and presence so Aeryon can focus 100% on running her company. (All she needs to do is click the ‘get paid’ button.)
To deal with resellers who were dropping prices, Don developed and executed a strategy with new rules for product distribution. Only retailers who have a bricks and mortar store are now allowed to buy the product.
“We monitor all reseller activity and pricing so we can identify any bad actors and rectify the situation,” Don says. “These resellers are no longer allowed to buy product. There’s still a lot of excess product out there and we continue to drain it out of the system.”
“Don really coached me through,” Aeryon says. “We’ve had lots of conversations from how to handle resellers to how to own the Amazon Buy Box … all these different things that I don’t have time for.
“We’re constantly discussing how to further the business, how to create more sales, what to do better,” she says. “He knows not only the Amazon aspect, but because he has such a plethora of knowledge and he’s been working with entrepreneurs for so many years, he’s a great sounding board, in all honesty. I have three people with whom I usually sound things off, and he’s definitely one of them.”
As Aeryon Wellness launches new products, the Beacon team handles the complete launch experience, from keyword research, copywriting and A+ storefront pages to making sure all factors are optimized for maximum profitability.

Results
Aeryon Wellness has seen incredible sales improvement since we became involved in the brand management on Amazon Canada. From selling dozens of units per month across 5 products to now selling dozens per day across 22 products we have helped to scale the brand with a profit-first focus. We optimize the product pricing to compete on the platform as well as create unique bundles of products that maximize the customer experience, all while keeping more net dollars in her pocket at the end of the sale.
Aeryon Wellness’s diuretic product, for example, is consistently in the Top 3 Best Sellers on Amazon, against big brand competitors Jamieson and Diurex.
New to brand orders through ad campaigns account for 75% of orders on Amazon and 25% are repeat customers.

What’s next for Aeryon Wellness?
Aeryon has recently launched a new perimenopause kit on Amazon.ca, as well as Move It for incontinence and Wake Me Up for energy support.
Aeryon Wellness is also now available on Amazon.com to serve the U.S. market and plans to launch in the United Kingdom next.
Selling direct through Amazon is her choice for going global as it enables the greatest speed to market and incredible brand awareness.
